What is an Orb?

A message (text, audio, video, or document) that you write today and that reaches someone on the date you choose. A letter for your children in twenty years, a note for a loved one in case of death, a birthday surprise. It waits, safe and sealed, until exactly the right moment.

Can WESEP read my message?

Accepted Answer

No. From the moment you seal it, the content is time-locked. Nobody can access it before the intended date, not even us. This isn't a good-faith promise: it's a technical constraint built into the system.

How does my recipient receive the message?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the contact you provided. If you entered a mobile number, your recipient receives their access code by SMS as soon as your Orb is sealed. On the chosen date, they enter it on a dedicated page and the message is revealed. If you only provided an email address, they receive a direct link on that date, no code needed.

What if WESEP closes one day?

Your message is archived on a network that is entirely independent of WESEP. If WESEP closes tomorrow, it remains accessible and verifiable. That's not an empty promise: it's the architecture of the system.

Where do I start?

Accepted Answer

Create an account, write your message, choose a recipient and a delivery date, then seal it. WESEP automatically sends the access code to your recipient by SMS. You don't need to do anything else.

What are credits?

Accepted Answer

A credit unlocks the ability to attach a file to your Orb. Writing text is always free. Adding a file changes things: 1 credit per document or image, 1 per audio recording, 2 per short video (under 5 minutes), 4 per longer video. Credits are purchased individually and never expire.

Question 7

Who can access what I write?

Accepted Answer

Only your recipient, at the moment you chose. Once sealed, WESEP can no longer read the content. Nobody else can access it.

Question 8

Can I change my mind after sealing?

Accepted Answer

While your Orb is a draft, you can edit or delete it free of charge. Once sealed, the content is locked, but you can request cancellation before the delivery date for a €10 fee. The message is then permanently destroyed.

Question 9

How can I tell the message hasn't been changed?

Accepted Answer

Every archived Orb has a public verification page showing its content fingerprint and proof that nothing has changed since sealing. Open to everyone, no login required.
